Create a set of icons for Berlin’s Zoo and a distinctive launch event that will attract unusual zoo-goers.
WHAT I DID
Duality is ingrained in Berlin’s personality as well as its ambiguity. It’s everywhere, from people and culture to club scene and architecture.
The icons are made of different pieces that only make sense when are together. Each icon aims to evoke duality and precision through its vibrant colours and sharp edges.
The goal is to represent my own view of the essence of Berlin in each icon. They all share common features but each one has distinctive attributes like the people and areas in Berlin.
In addition, I created an event that seeks that duality too by offering a night at the zoo where classical and electronic music meet.
I designed posters, brochures, flyers, promotional merchandising, and an infographic.
